Day 281

“Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” Isaiah 1:16-17

Busy Busy Busy again. After Morgan went home, I had all of 2 days with only one dog. Then I got Finn for two days (he was great) now I have Sekona for two nights, then I have just Cooper for a day, then Justin comes the day I get rid of Cooper, then Sunday I get Stella, and have her for either four or eight days (they do not know yet) then I may have Baruch for a week. Then January 29 I get Bailey for a week or so. Today is Yvi's birthday, and Monday (the day Justin goes home) is Kristel's birthday...

Day 280

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

Yesterday was such a beautiful sunny day! It is supposed to be a little snowy today. So far no sign of that.

Day 279

“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,” Titus 2:11-12

I don't know about you, but I need practice with this verse. My self control is not very good

Day 278

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12

People in this day and age seem to be preoccupied with living as long as possible. I think it is not age that matters. I know some 20 year olds that have lived more than some 90 year olds. Even the Bible says we need to number our days...

PS- Never watch BBC's Robin Hood- the ending of season two is very disappointing!

Day 277

"The mighty man will become tinder and his work a spark;both will burn together, with no one to quench the fire.” Isaiah 1:31

Happy New Year everyone. I was out at Kristel's and we played some games, then we went to Yvi's and watched the Feuerzangenbowle. That is where they have a hot mulled wine, put a sugar cone over the bowl, pour rum on it, and light it on fire. It was pretty cool to watch. The alcohol was so strong I though I was gonna get drunk just from smelling it. We welcomed the new year there, then I came back home, and watched TV till 3 (as I was not really tired) I woke up at 8:30, but went back to sleep till 12.
