Day 314

“Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 97:10

Day 313

He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” Luke 24:46-49

I like this verse because I have always felt very strongly towards missionary work, but have never been able to afford to do it (and still cannot) so I support the missionaries as much as I can, and I truly hope others do as well.

Whistler was great yesterday. It was a nice sunny day, not too cold. Anna and Yvi had a blast tubing, and Kristel and I had fun sitting around a fire watching them.

Day 312

“For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.” Psalm 33:4-5

Off to do nothing at Whistler...

Day 311

"He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:1-2

I like this one (almost the same as yesterday's)because I like the thought of having a stronghold, a fortress...

Going up to Whistler tomorrow with the girls. I will be watching Anna and Yvi tube, as I don't have the money to tube, and Kristel hurt her knee, so she will just be watching as well.

Day 310

“But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.” Psalm 59:16

God is definitely my fortress. I know I can run to Him when I need help, protection or comfort.

Day 309

“However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him" 1 Corinthians 2:9

I truly believe that God has prepared something for me, and I just need to have the patience to receive it.

Day 308

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." Deuteronomy 6:4-5
