I've been pretty busy. Working two jobs, pet sitting... I found a really cool spot today. There was a fake bird, that I thought was real for a moment...I was like, why is the bird allowing the dogs so close? There was also a bone, and a teeter totter. The $5 bill is from work...someone gave us that
Whats the coolest thing you have found exploring the woods?

Technically, it wasn't something I had "found" in the woods, as much as something I "made". When I was little, my friends and I would play in the woods down the road, and we basically created our own little world there, just in our imaginative little heads! You used to have to cross a narrow bridge there, as I recall, and I used to treat that like the gateway between the real world, and the one we created.
That is one massive bone.....The coolest thing I ever found in the woods was an animal jaw, all the lower teeth were intact. I think it was a deer by the teeth.
I was walking the pipeline the other day. It is not unusual to find lots of bones and skeletons along that way because hunters leave the carcasses there and the MTO drops off road kill sometime too. BUT....
The pipelne is couple of hundred meters from the lake and I saw the head of a very large jackfish. It had to have been hauled there by some animal or dropped by a very big bird.
