Day 9

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of those who are destitute." Proverbs 31:8

I chose this verse because I have been watching Dr Quinn Medicine Woman, and the parts where the Native Americans are being attacked, misjudged, forced off their land; really brought to light this verse. There are many that cannot speak for themselves, whether it is due to a language barrier or to0 small of a group. There are not enough people in the world that will speak for them. Maybe if someone had actually done as this verse states, the Natives would have been heard more clearly.

I started cross stitching again (give me something to do while watching the kids) and it is frustrating me to no end. I was not made out for doing things that require patience. I think I did a stitch wrong about twenty stitches ago, and now I have to undo all of them. Nora and Adrian have gone to Toronto until Friday. I am still looking for another job. Can't think of anything else new, or exciting in my life, so thats all for now.

Day eight

""He brought me out into a spacious place, He rescued me because He delighted in me."
Psalms 18:19

I chose this verse because it really helped me to understand why I am a Christian. It really struck home that He saved us, not because of what we have done, not because we are worthy, but because He loves us.

One week down, on this crazy time scale. First was my trip home, then I had one normal day, then Nora went to Brazil for work, so I had to work over time, now, I have one normal day, then Nora and Adrian are leaving for Toronto.

Day seven

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Mathew 11:28

I chose this verse because I have found it to be helpful in the past, whether I am mentally or physically tired, God had always given me a way to have a rest, and has renewed me.

Day six

"Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."
John 11:25-26

I choose this verse because it really speaks to me of what Easter is. Jesus gave His life so that if we believe in Him, we will have life as well. This is the day that He rose from the dead, and if we believe in Him, death cannot stop us either.

Day four

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Day Three

"he tends His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms, and carries them close to His heart; he gently leads those that have young" Isaiah 40:11

Today Coco is sick. She started throwing up last night, was fine during the night, then started again this morning. After dropping Julian off, I went out and bought gatorade, ginger ale, and jello. I went to work at AW, and now am back home to watch Coco while Adrian goes to work.
