Signal Mountain
Jaimie and I climbed a MOUNTAIN. It took us 6 hours and 35 minutes to get up and down. we left at 8am, and finished around 2:30ish. It was really foggy, and after about an hour we kept hearing snapping sounds. Jaimie brought Eric's hunting knife, so she got it out, and we walked with the knife out. We were very freaked out, but we never ran into the bear. When we finally got to the top it was so amazing. The view was breath taking, and there were a bunch of Marmots that came real close. We found a Moose antler. The mountain was 7,398 feet high. Now we are going to relax.

I LOVE the marmot picture. Three in one shot is amazing and they blend in with the rock so well I probably would have missed them if you hadn't said they were there.
I agree the marmot shot is great.
Good hike.
I agree with the marmot shot....But the scenery below is awesome.
I think I would have freaked out knowing something was walking out of sight but you knew it was there. Do you guys carry a bear bell when you are hiking?
No that is just letting the bear know that supper is on the way...
