"What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father." Galatians 4:1-2
I chose this verse because I recently watched the movie "The young Victoria" and it really sunk in that even though she would be Queen, she had no power. She could not choose where she went, when she went r how she went. She was like a slave until she became a Queen (but even then a slave, but that is for another day."
This has been a good, but tiring week. Nora was out a few of the nights, so I had to put the kids to bed. Then on Friday, it was a fun day at school, so there was only half a day, so I had to have Coco then. Nora and Adrian went downtown for Friday and Saturday (for the night) so I had the kids. I did not sleep much. Then we went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, then Mcdonalds, then when Nora and Adrian got home at 3:20, I got ready for work, and went to AW for 4-9:30. Today I am going to church (9-10:30) then work (12-8:30) Monday is a holiday which means I will be working a full shift at AW (prob, don't know the schedule yet) Well gotta get dressed and have breakfast.

And to think at some point in our lives most of us wanted to be a princess or a movie star.
I remember reading a book about that very princess when I was little...I think it was part of this great set of hardcover books about princesses. Anyway, I remember being struck by that same conclusion. There was always a distinct lack of power for certain royal figures, especially if they were female or particularly young when they were crowned.
