"There is no greater love than to lay down ones life for one's friends" John 15:13

I chose this verse because I read a story about Maximillian Kolbe, a priest who was held in Aushwitz. A prisoner had escaped, and ten men were chosen to be killed as a warning. One of the men had a wife and child, so Maximillian said, take me instead. he and the others were left to starve to death. This was a true example of Christian behaviour.
