"Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them" Deuteronomy 4:9
I chose this verse because I was a teacher today, the girls I am with do not know what a squirrel sounds like, or about bear safety, or about elk habits, or really anything outdoorsy. The things I have seen and heard are being passed down now, maybe not to my children, but at least to someone.
We think it is a sheep. Not sure though. It was too far away to tell for sure, although it does look like it has a collar (I pointed that out earlier to the girls, but it does not look like a dog.)
I watched a hockey game tonight, and actually liked it. I think I will start watching more (at least till the Stanley cup is done)

I like hockey... i should start watching it too.
I always teach children when I'm outdoors with them to respect plant life. Also how wind, erosion and lichens break down rocks. Dad once told me that the mountain we were on would one day be a sand beach. I tell kids the same story.
