"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh." Genesis 2:24
I chose this verse because it is sad when you look around today, and see that people who "became one flesh" separate, or stop loving someone. Their was a study done years ago, that the divorce rate was rising (until people stopped getting married) How can you become one flesh, then just go on your way?
PS:I am not saying this to offend anyone who has separated, it is just my opinion

Sometimes life is more complicated than it sounds when one reads about it in a book (however much one values the book).
I've found that experience tempers opinions considerably.
I do appreciate where you are coming from though.
